Ammon Taylor – Story Wranglers

Ammon Taylor is a pianist, composer, and musical director with a Bachelor of Music in Composition from UT Austin. Before joining the Paramount, he was the assistant choir director and musical theatre teacher at McCallum Fine Arts Academy. Ammon was the musical director of ZACH Theatre’s Pre-Professional Company from 2013 to 2015, and he has been the musical director for the Paramount Story Wranglers since 2011. He has been the musical director for summer and winter camps at the Paramount and ZACH theaters since 2012. Ammon is actively involved in Austin’s improvised theatre community, and has taught musical improvisation classes with the Hideout Theatre and Merlin Works Institute at ZACH. Ammon has received several B. Iden Payne awards for outstanding original score; in 2015 for Cenicienta and in 2016 for Love Me Tinder.
