Everyone knows what it feels like to be inspired by a story. Whether it is truth or fiction, in a book, movie, or TV show, stories told well can stir something in us to want to go out and make a difference. Yet, we don’t always know where to start or what to do with this newfound motivation. Join The Syndication Project for a workshop that will will explore their mission of advocacy through storytelling by discussing how to partner organizations, actions, and story together to make an impact. We’ll discuss what storylines have the greatest impact on TV viewers, why that is, and what calls to action viewers can do from their own couches, in their homes, and for their communities to actually incite change on any level.
