Dani moved to Austin in 2004 to work for SXSW before starting her own company, Big Green House, in 2006. A consistent go-to for some of the world’s most recognizable brands and agencies, she has engineered every aspect of the event experience from strategy, concept, and creative to venue scouting, end-to-end production, entertainment direction and booking, talent relations, sponsor activations, and brand integration.
Her credibility, network, and experience come from being at the heart of event culture for fifteen years. Dani began her freelance career under Big Green House as a local band manager and club promoter. In 2007, she was recruited by Red Bull to strengthen their efforts in live music events and marketing. One year later, at the age of 27, she became the Director of Entertainment for Red Bull’s largest live music event to date, Red Bull Moon Tower. From there she transitioned into event production and experiential marketing, where she has focused for over a decade working with brands like Facebook, Comedy Central, Dos Equis, Netflix, and Pandora.
In 2015, she joined Alamo Drafthouse’s Rolling Roadshow team as a Senior Event Producer. In 2018, she became Director of the Rolling Roadshow and, shortly after, accepted an offer to onboard as Director of Events for Alamo Drafthouse in 2019. In this role, Dani oversees production on large scale events across the country. She has spearheaded some of Alamo’s most famous events such as JAWS on the Water, Stunt Ranch Cinema, and Alamo Sleepaway Camp. She has also brought to life countless projects with an ever-growing list of prominent partners and artists like Marvel, YouTube, A24, NEON, Warner Bros, Universal, Alec Baldwin, Anna Kendrick, Neil Patrick Harris, Duplass Brothers, William Shatner, Ralph Macchio, Marky Ramone, Richard Linklater, Bryan Cranston, Val Kilmer, and Willie Nelson.
