Eloisa Acha is the Director of Research Relations at the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where she manages academic research collaborations with partners including industry, government agencies, and foundations.

Eloisa has over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry leading market expansions into new geographic areas including Latin America and Asia and establishing strategic partnerships between industry, government, and academia to drive STEM and workforce development outcomes. Eloisa enjoys connecting organizations from different sectors to advance engineering, science, and technology while building sustainable partnerships and delivering value to all the stakeholders.

Eloisa graduated from Tec de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering. She lived two years in Malaysia and resides in Austin, Texas where she is actively involved in education projects for underserved populations.
