Mitch Harris is above all else, a storyteller. He has performed throughout Austin as an actor, teaches creative writing and performance to youth, and has been published in multiple newspapers, literary journals, creative writing anthologies and blogs as a writer. Mitch has a BFA in Theater Performance from St. Edward’s University and is an Actors Equity Membership Candidate. He is a member of the Writers’ League of Texas and an alumnus of Leadership Austin’s Emerge Program. Mitch volunteers his time supporting the Austin arts community as a Steering Committee Member for the original theatre festival 14/48 Austin. He serves as the Leadership Seminar Chair for the Texas Capital Area branch of Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership. Mitch currently works as the Literacy to Life Program Manager at the Paramount Theatre.
